Al-Baha University Trains Female Grads in AI

Al-Baha University has launched a training course titled “Generative Artificial Intelligence and Prompt Engineering” for female graduates in the Al-Baha region, aiming to strengthen their digital skills and readiness for the job market.

The initiative is being carried out by the university’s College of Computing and Information Technology in cooperation with the Graduate Support Affairs Agency at the Deanship of Admission and Registration. It targets female graduates from a range of academic disciplines, giving them practical exposure to some of the most in-demand technologies in today’s labor market.

The course forms part of a wider series of specialized training programs in data and artificial intelligence designed to improve employability for female graduates across the region. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology as part of the Smart Summer 2026 program, which coincides with the Year of Artificial Intelligence.

Why it matters

The program focuses on preparing graduates to meet the evolving demands of the labor market. By teaching generative AI and prompt-engineering skills, organizers aim to align participants with current and future digital-economy roles in Saudi Arabia, opening pathways into fast-growing technology fields.

For female graduates in Al-Baha, the course offers a chance to build practical, job-ready capabilities close to home. No fees, registration channels, or certification details have been officially specified for this particular course.
