Al Hilal Beat Al Ahli 3-0 as Watkins Scores on Debut

Al Hilal opened their campaign in commanding fashion, defeating Al Ahli 3–0 in the Saudi Pro League on 1 September 2026, in a match that also marked the debut of new signing Ollie Watkins.

The English forward, who joined Al Hilal from Aston Villa shortly before the fixture, capped his first appearance with a goal in the 86th minute. His strike added to earlier efforts from Sergej Milinković-Savić and Crysencio Summerville, who both found the net to secure a comfortable win.

The result underlined Al Hilal's attacking depth as they look to challenge for domestic honours once again. Watkins' quick contribution on debut will encourage supporters hoping the addition strengthens an already formidable squad.

For fans across Riyadh, Jeddah and beyond, the fixture is another sign of the growing profile of the Saudi Pro League, which continues to attract high-profile international talent. The competition remains a major draw for football followers throughout the community, offering top-level matches at home each week.
