Al-Khabra Boulevard — also known as Al-Khubara Promenade or Jadat Al-Khubara — is emerging as a new economic and tourism destination in Al-Khabra (Riyadh Al-Khubara) in the Qassim Region, positioned along King Fahd Road on the Qassim–Madinah Expressway.
The boulevard serves as a stopover hub for travelers moving between Qassim and Madinah, while offering a platform to market the region's agricultural products, dates, handicrafts, and heritage goods. The developed site spans nearly 50,000 square metres and includes around 160 retail stores and about 40 kiosks, along with parking and pedestrian areas.
The project is part of a broader municipal and endowment development effort. Al-Khabra Municipality has carried out works to rehabilitate and landscape King Fahd Road across several kilometres — including tree planting, lighting poles, parking spaces, sidewalks, and directional signs — with completion in 2025. The boulevard also forms part of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Khudair Endowment development, which focuses on local growth, youth and women empowerment, and support for family enterprises.
Date Festival 2026
The boulevard will host the Al-Khabra and Riyadh Al-Khabra Date Festival 2026 from 1 August to 15 September 2026 at Jadat Al-Khubara on King Fahd Road. Recent festival operations at the site have featured more than 40 varieties of dates, with Sukkari dates leading sales in 2026.
For residents and visitors, the destination blends shopping, entertainment, and heritage while supporting farmers, small businesses, and family enterprises. It reflects wider efforts to strengthen the local date sector and tourism economy in Qassim, offering travelers on the Riyadh–Qassim–Madinah route a convenient stop with regional products close at hand.
