Riyadh-based construction-technology platform BRKZ has raised a total of USD 31 million to expand its AI-powered building-materials procurement service for contractors and suppliers across Saudi Arabia. The 2026 round combines USD 13 million in Series B equity and USD 18 million in growth debt.
The equity round was co-led by Wa'ed Ventures, the venture arm of Aramco, and 500 Global, with participation from BECO Capital and ANB Capital. The USD 18 million in growth debt was drawn from a previously announced USD 30 million debt facility with Stride Ventures, structured to support embedded financing and lending initiatives for the company's construction clients.
With this round, BRKZ has now raised more than USD 70 million in combined equity and debt since it was founded, across seed, Series A1, Series A2, strategic investments, the debt facility, and the new Series B.
How the platform works
BRKZ operates an AI-based pricing and fulfillment engine that digitizes the way local contractors and suppliers handle quotations, price comparisons, and order fulfillment. The platform covers procurement of cement, steel, aggregates, finishing materials and other building supplies for projects in major Saudi cities, and also enables cross-border sourcing from China and India to improve prices and availability.
For contractors, the service offers AI-driven matching of material requests to multiple suppliers, dynamic pricing based on historical data and current inventories, and an order-management dashboard to track requests, confirmed orders, deliveries, and invoices. The fresh capital is set to expand embedded finance options, including supplier and contractor financing tied to procurement transactions.
The investment reflects growing momentum in Saudi Arabia's construction and technology sectors as the Kingdom advances its major development goals. For local contractors and suppliers, faster and more transparent material sourcing could help ease costs and delays on projects nationwide.
