Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance has renewed its partnership with Thmanyah, a subsidiary of the Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG), to sponsor coverage of Saudi football competitions and to use match broadcasts to promote better health and more active lifestyles across the Kingdom.
The renewed agreement covers Thmanyah's role as the official streamer for Saudi football championships and the Roshn Saudi League for the 2025-2026 season in Saudi Arabia. Under the arrangement, health and wellness messaging will be woven into the broadcasts, with a focus on preventive health, physical activity, and improved quality of life for viewers and fans.
The collaboration is a commercial agreement between Bupa Arabia and Thmanyah/SRMG. No government e-services platforms are involved, and the public does not need any official app to access the broadcasts or the associated health messages. Any viewing costs are set by Thmanyah's own broadcast or subscription model, not by a government fee schedule.
The tie-up forms part of Bupa Arabia's wider strategy to link its insurance and health services with sports initiatives and campaigns that encourage physical activity and healthier lifestyles, building on earlier health-awareness and sports participation programs.
For football fans in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and beyond, the move means health and wellness reminders will now sit alongside their regular match viewing — a small but visible push toward the more active, preventive approach to health that is central to the Kingdom's broader wellbeing goals.
