Ceer Sets Sept 21 Unveiling for First EV Sedan, SUV

Ceer, Saudi Arabia's first domestic automotive brand, has confirmed that it will hold the world premiere of its first flagship electric sedan and electric SUV on 21 September 2026. The reveal will be live-streamed online, though the specific venue, city, and exact timing have not been publicly confirmed as of mid-September 2026.

Ceer is the Kingdom's first homegrown original equipment manufacturer (OEM), backed by the Public Investment Fund in partnership with Foxconn. The two models set to be unveiled are a battery-electric sedan and a battery-electric SUV, part of a broader plan targeting seven models within five years.

Commercial production is planned at the Ceer manufacturing plant in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). Sales production is targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026, with deliveries in Saudi Arabia expected before the end of the year. Trial builds are planned around mid-2026, ahead of a full production ramp-up later in the year.

What buyers should know

As of 14 September 2026, official final prices in Saudi riyals, trims, warranty packages, and charging standards for the flagship models have not been officially announced. Any SAR price figures currently circulating are expectations or speculative and are not confirmed as official pricing.

The booking, purchase, and unveiling process is being led directly by the company through its own channels. Once deliveries begin, vehicle registration and licensing will follow the standard Saudi traffic and vehicle registration procedures, with no Ceer-specific exemptions announced. The company has described 2026 as "the year of Ceer," aligning the September unveiling with the start of its commercial rollout and its ambition to anchor a Saudi-based electric vehicle industry.
