International Mexican-inspired restaurant chain Chipotle is heading to Riyadh, with plans to open its first-ever branch in Saudi Arabia later in August 2026. The new restaurant will be located at Sidra, next to Granada Mall in the capital.
The opening marks Chipotle's entry into the Kingdom and is being carried out in partnership with Alshaya Group, a well-known regional operator of international food and retail brands.
Diners in Riyadh can expect the chain's signature menu, which will feature burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and salads. The concept is built around fresh, customizable meals that guests assemble to their own taste.
Why it matters
Riyadh's dining scene continues to grow rapidly as global brands establish their first outlets in the Kingdom. The arrival of Chipotle adds another popular international name to the city's expanding food landscape, giving residents and visitors more variety at a familiar destination near Granada Mall.
