Crown Prince Camel Festival Trophy Races Begin in Taif

The eighth Crown Prince Camel Festival 2026 was set to hold its first trophy races on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the historic Taif Camel Racing Track in Taif, with an evening prize pool exceeding SAR 6 million.

the evening session prizes totaled SAR 6.1 million. The event featured six cup races in the evening final, with prizes awarded to the top five finishers in each race.

The festival's general morning and evening races carried SAR 90,000 distributed among the top 10 finishers. Across all its competitions, the festival's total prize money exceeded SAR 50 million, making it one of the largest camel racing events of its kind.
