Hayy Jameel Jeddah Celebrates International Cat Day

Hayy Jameel in Jeddah is marking International Cat Day with a free weekend program that brings together cinema screenings, live music, interactive activities and animal-welfare fundraising for rescued animals. The venue is located in the Al Muhammadiyah District.

The program runs across two dates: August 7, 2026 at 6:00 PM and August 9, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The August 7 session features cat-inspired film screenings and is a cats-allowed session, letting visitors bring their feline companions along.

Alongside the screenings, the program includes an open call tied to the event, with a submission window running from July 29, 2026 to August 4, 2026. The fundraising element is directed toward supporting rescued animals, giving families a chance to combine entertainment with a community cause.

General entry to Hayy Jameel is free and requires no ticket, with the venue open daily from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM. No specific fee for the cat-day cinema event has been listed, so visitors are encouraged to check details ahead of attending.

The event offers residents and families in Jeddah an accessible way to spend a summer weekend, blending film, music and hands-on activities while raising awareness about animal welfare in the community.
