Jeddah: 3 Arrested, 42kg of Meth Seized

Security patrols in Jeddah have arrested three residents accused of distributing drugs and seized 42 kilograms of methamphetamine, a substance also known as shabu, in a recent operation targeting a drug-distribution network.

The three suspects were identified as two Pakistani residents and one Afghan resident. All three were taken into custody, and the required legal procedures were completed before they were referred to the relevant authorities for further action.

Methamphetamine is a highly addictive stimulant, and seizures of this scale reflect the ongoing efforts of security teams to intercept illegal narcotics before they reach local communities.

The case underscores the continued vigilance of authorities in combating drug trafficking and distribution across the Kingdom. Residents are reminded that anti-narcotics laws in Saudi Arabia are strictly enforced, and cooperation from the public plays an important role in keeping neighborhoods safe.

No final court judgment, sentence, or case outcome has been reported at this stage, and the matter remains in the hands of the competent authorities.
