Jeddah Corniche Air Shows for National Day 2026

Jeddah residents and visitors are set to enjoy three days of free aerial displays along the Jeddah Corniche to mark the 96th Saudi National Day. The air shows take place at ROSHN Waterfront, in front of Jeddah Hilton Hotel, from 18 to 20 September 2026, with displays starting at 5:00 p.m. each day.

The program features Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft alongside the Saudi Falcons aerobatic team, with commercial flypasts by a Saudia Boeing 787-9 and a flyadeal Airbus A320neo. The shows are organized within the Ministry of Defense celebratory flight program, in coordination with the General Entertainment Authority and other government entities.

Access to the Corniche and ROSHN Waterfront viewing areas is completely free of charge, with no ticketed entry fee for standing spectators along the waterfront promenade. There is no requirement to book through Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, Najiz, Nafath, Tawakkalna or any other platform, as these are open public events.

What to expect

Crowds typically begin gathering from around 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., with the main aerial displays taking place between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. Ministry of Defense announcements specify displays on 18 and 20 September 2026 at 5:00 p.m. on the Jeddah waterfront near Jeddah Hilton, with Jeddah Governorate concluding the celebrations at ROSHN Waterfront on 20 September 2026.

The 96th National Day carries the theme slogan "Our Pride Lies in Our Nature" (ʻIzzna bi ṭabʻna). Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good viewing spot, as the free open-air format draws large crowds. Official schedules and locations are published through the Ministry of Defense and General Entertainment Authority National Day program announcements.
