King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) will host the Middle Eastern Robotic Cardiac Surgery Summit (MRCS 2026) in Riyadh on 16 September 2026, bringing together heart specialists from across the region for a full day of scientific sessions and hands-on training.
The summit runs from 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM. Morning and afternoon scientific sessions will be held at King Salman Auditorium at KFSHRC in the Takhasussi area, while a dedicated practical block takes place at the Comparative Medicine Simulation Lab on the same campus. The programme combines expert presentations, panel discussions, and a hands-on session focused on robotic cardiac surgery.
Discussions will cover advances in robotic and minimally invasive cardiac techniques, evidence-based patient selection and risk assessment, and strategies for managing cardiovascular disease within a multidisciplinary team. Sessions will also address collaboration across medical specialties, integrated cardiovascular care pathways, and patient education to support individualized treatment decisions.
The event is organized by the KFSHRC Heart Center / Center of Excellence for Heart Care and is aimed at cardiac surgeons, cardiovascular specialists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals interested in robotic and minimally invasive heart procedures.
For residents and the wider medical community, the summit reflects the Kingdom's growing role in advanced heart care and specialized surgical training. Registration is handled online through the official KFSHRC events platform via the summit registration link on the hospital's event page. No registration fee has been published for the 2026 summit. For information and registration support, contact the Center of Excellence for Heart Care at +966 11 242 7272, extension 33867, or by email at EC_HC@kfshrc.edu.sa.
