King Salman Park Foundation in Riyadh has announced a change at the top of its communications team, as Simon Shaw concludes his tenure as Chief Communications and Marketing Officer. The move, made public in early September 2026, marks the end of his in-house leadership chapter with the Foundation and a shift into an independent advisory role.
Shaw joined the Foundation in April 2025 and, during his time there, led the brand direction and helped develop its marketing and communications capabilities. He also built a team intended to support the next phase of King Salman Park's development, one of the capital's major urban projects.
As of early September 2026, no permanent next leadership position for Shaw has been announced. He is focusing on independent advisory work spanning strategy, brand development, corporate reputation, creative transformation, communications, and marketing.
Why it matters
King Salman Park is one of Riyadh's flagship green and lifestyle developments, and its communications leadership shapes how the project is presented to residents and visitors. No successor to the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer role has been publicly named in the currently available information.
The change is separate from the Foundation's CEO transition, in which the chief executive role is reported to move from George Tanasijevich to Dale Chadwick. There are no fees, prices, or government procedures connected to this communications leadership change.
