King Salman Park Draws SAR20bn in Private Investment

King Salman Park in Riyadh has attracted private-sector investment commitments exceeding SAR20 billion, spread across five major investment packages, as the mega development moves forward on a site covering roughly 17.2 square kilometres.

Announced in March 2026, newly unveiled packages account for more than SAR14.2 billion of that total. The largest of them, Package 5, carries a development value exceeding SAR11 billion and centres on a residential-led, mixed-use district. Package 4, valued at more than SAR3.2 billion, will deliver a residential-led mixed-use development within the park's cultural district.

How the projects are financed

The projects are being funded through Saudi-based investment funds regulated by the Capital Market Authority, alongside private-sector consortiums. Under the model, the King Salman Park Foundation provides the development land, while private-sector partners bring the capital and carry out the construction and development work.

The approach reflects a growing pattern in the Kingdom's large-scale projects, where public entities enable development while private investors take on financing and delivery. For Riyadh residents, the packages signal continued momentum toward new housing, community spaces and mixed-use districts within one of the capital's flagship destinations.

No visitor admission fees, attraction prices, operating hours or confirmed opening details for specific venues have been announced at this stage. Saudi Living will share further details as the developments progress.
