A new regional creative marketing festival, LIONS Riyadh, has been announced as part of the global LIONS network. The event is scheduled for 6–8 December 2027 at مركز الملك عبدالله المالي (KAFD) in الرياض, marking a fresh addition to the Kingdom's growing calendar of advertising and marketing events.
The festival is organized in Saudi Arabia by Tahaluf in partnership with the Ministry of Media and the global LIONS network. It is positioned as a specialized regional gathering focused on creative marketing effectiveness, aiming to connect the local industry with international expertise and talent.
What the festival covers
The program is set to address creative excellence, effectiveness, culture, and the future of the advertising and marketing sector. Organisers say it will feature keynotes and talks by chief marketing officers, creative leaders, agencies, and brands, alongside learning and training programs and networking initiatives tailored to the الرياض market.
Among its stated aims are supporting the growth of the Kingdom's creative economy by attracting global talent and creating high-quality jobs, giving the Saudi and wider Middle East sector access to global benchmarks, tools, and networks, and showcasing local Saudi and regional talent, ideas, and storytelling to the international creative industry.
The festival is intended to include a strategic alliance with Athar Festival, currently described as the Kingdom's largest gathering of the creative marketing industry, integrating it into the wider LIONS regional platform.
As of September 2026, no official ticket prices, ريال سعودي fee structures, registration categories, or award entry fees have been released. Details on the program schedule, speakers, participating brands, and registration mechanisms are expected to be published at a later date.
