Mahd Academy Opens Football Tryouts in 16 Cities

Mahd Sports Academy has opened nationwide football talent tryouts, running from September to December 2026 across 16 Saudi cities. The trials target boys born between 2013 and 2017, giving young players a chance to be scouted for the academy's talent programme.

The tryouts will be held in Abha, Makkah, Tabuk, Jazan, Hail, Qassim, Hafar Al-Batin, Al-Baha, Madinah, Arar, Yanbu, Najran, Sakaka, Wadi Al-Dawasir, Taif and Al-Kharj. Each event is tied to a specific city, date and time slot.

How to register

Registration is online only, through the Mahd Sports Academy official tryouts page. Parents create or use an existing account, select the football tryouts event matching their child's city and date, then fill in personal details (name, ID number, date of birth and contact information) along with health status before submitting. A digital confirmation is then issued with the exact venue, date and time.

All registration and communication is handled directly through the academy's own website and channels. Government platforms such as أبشر, مقيم, قوى, ناجز, نفاذ and توكلنا are not used for these tryouts.

Mahd Sports Academy and its Sports Talents School are described as free national initiatives, and registration in the talent discovery events and tryouts is free of charge. No participation fee or paid package is listed for the September–December 2026 football trials.

Registration is event-specific and valid only for the chosen city, date and time. Taking part does not guarantee admission; selection depends on a performance evaluation. For families across the Kingdom, the initiative offers a clear, no-cost pathway for young footballers to be seen by professional scouts close to home.
