Milaf Global, a company owned by the Public Investment Fund, will take part as a strategic sponsor at the Buraidah International Dates Carnival in 2026, supporting efforts to market Saudi dates locally and beyond.
The carnival will be held at King Khalid Cultural Center in Buraidah, with free entry and complimentary parking for visitors. The 2026 season runs from 1 August 2026 to 15 October 2026, while the accompanying events take place from 20 August 2026 to 9 September 2026. Daily opening hours are from 4:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
Why it matters
Buraidah is one of the Kingdom's leading centers for date production and trade, and the annual carnival draws growers, traders, and visitors from across the region. Having a Public Investment Fund-owned company on board as a strategic sponsor reflects continued attention to strengthening the marketing and reach of Saudi dates.
For families and residents, the event offers an accessible outing during the season, with no admission charge and free parking. Visitors planning to attend the accompanying events should note the shorter window of 20 August to 9 September, while the wider carnival stays open through mid-October.
No official 2026 sponsorship fee or participation pricing was available at the time of writing. Saudi Living will share further practical details as the season approaches.
