Sectors linked to Saudi Arabia's National Industrial Development and Logistics Program contributed SAR 1,045 billion to the Kingdom's non-oil gross domestic product in 2025, equal to about 39% of total non-oil GDP,
The 2025 contribution rose from SAR 996 billion recorded in 2024, marking roughly 5% year-on-year growth. Non-oil activities made up 55% of the Kingdom's total GDP during the year, with program-linked sectors accounting for around 39% of that non-oil share.
On the trade side, non-oil exports tied to the program reached roughly SAR 624 billion in 2025, while non-oil exports made up about 44% of the Kingdom's total exports. By the end of the year, cumulative investments in the industrial hubs of Jubail and Yanbu exceeded SAR 1.5 trillion.
Why it matters
The figures point to the growing weight of industry, logistics, mining, and energy sectors in an economy long tied to oil. A larger, more diversified non-oil base supports the goals of رؤية السعودية 2030, which aims to broaden national income and expand job opportunities across the Kingdom.
For residents and businesses in الرياض, جدة, and the wider Kingdom, expansion in these sectors can translate into more manufacturing, trade, and logistics activity over time. The numbers reflect macroeconomic contributions and are not linked to individual fees or service prices on government platforms.
