The Public Investment Fund reported stronger financial results for 2025, with revenue rising 9% and net profit more than doubling, reflecting the fund's expanding role in the Saudi economy.
Total revenue reached SAR 449.9 billion during the year, up 9% from the prior period. Net profit more than doubled to SAR 65.1 billion, while operating profit climbed to about SAR 77.9 billion.
The fund's total assets grew to roughly SAR 4.54 trillion by the end of 2025, underscoring its position as one of the largest sovereign investors and a central driver of national economic development.
Why it matters
PIF sits at the heart of Saudi Arabia's efforts to diversify its economy under Saudi Vision 2030. The fund backs major projects, new companies, and job-creating ventures across the Kingdom, from tourism and entertainment to technology and infrastructure.
Stronger revenue and profit figures point to healthier returns on those investments, which in turn support the wider economy that residents and expats in Riyadh, Jeddah and beyond live and work in. Continued growth in the fund's assets signals sustained investment activity that shapes local job opportunities, new developments, and services across the country.
