The 13th annual Grape Festival in Qassim opened on 29 August 2026 in Oyoun Al-Jawa (Uyun Al-Jiwa) Governorate, organized by Qassim Region Municipality to support local grape growers and promote the region's agricultural products. The festival runs for three days as a short seasonal event.
More than 60 local farms from across the Qassim region are taking part, showcasing fresh table grapes in several local varieties, along with grape derivatives such as juices and preserves and other farm outputs. The festival grounds in Oyoun Al-Jawa were prepared as an agricultural and family entertainment hub; earlier editions used an area of around 25,000 m² at Al-Busaiteen Center as a reference for infrastructure and farmer kiosks.
Alongside the display and sale of produce, the festival offers agricultural marketing and a networking space for farmers and traders, plus family cultural and entertainment programs including children's areas, family seating and cultural activities aimed at encouraging local tourism.
Entry, prices and timings
The event is described as an open public festival, and no per-person entrance fee has been announced. Based on recent editions, entry has typically been free, with spending limited to on-site purchases. Access is on-site only; no ticketing through national platforms is indicated for this year.
Using recent editions as a reference where no changes have been announced, small retail boxes of grapes are commonly sold in the SAR 10–25 range, larger family crates in the SAR 30–60 range depending on quality and variety, and fresh juices or simple prepared products in the SAR 5–15 range. Prices are set by participating farms within normal local market ranges, and no regulated 2026 price list has been published. Activity typically peaks in the evening, from after Asr until late.
For residents and visitors, the festival is a chance to buy fresh local produce directly from growers while enjoying a family-friendly outing that supports Qassim's farming community.
