Riyadh to Host UNESCO AI Ethics Forum in September 2026

Riyadh is set to welcome the fourth UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, running from 14 to 17 September 2026. The four-day gathering will take place at The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh, in the Al Hada District, and entry is free with registration already open.

The forum is organized by SDAIA and ICAIRE, in partnership with UNESCO, bringing together discussions on the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence. Those interested can sign up through the official forum registration platform, with dedicated event email contacts also available for enquiries.

Why it matters

As artificial intelligence becomes part of daily life across the Kingdom — from public services to business tools — questions around fairness, transparency and responsible use are growing. Hosting a global forum of this scale in Riyadh places the city at the center of an international conversation on how AI should be developed and governed.

For residents, professionals, students and tech enthusiasts across Saudi Arabia, the event offers a rare chance to follow global thinking on AI ethics close to home, at no cost. With no ticket price or fee listed, the forum is positioned as an open opportunity for a wide community audience to take part.

The forum runs for four days only, from 14 to 17 September 2026, so those planning to attend are encouraged to complete their registration in advance to secure a place.
