The Road Security Special Forces took part in LEAP 2026 as part of the Ministry of Interior pavilion at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, running from 31 August to 3 September 2026. Their presence focused on the latest security and traffic safety technologies used on Saudi roads.
Among the highlights was a mobile smart security checkpoint fitted with advanced detection and monitoring systems, alongside the use of drones to strengthen road surveillance and speed up response. The showcase also featured integrated smart mobility and traffic safety solutions designed to improve efficiency and help field teams manage situations on the road more effectively.
LEAP 2026 opened to general visitors from 13:00 to 21:00 on event days, with selected pass holders able to enter earlier at 12:00. The event was moved this year from its original April dates (13–16 April) to 31 August–3 September at RECC Malham. Entry was listed as free on at least some registration channels, with digital registration required.
For residents and citizens, the exhibit offered a close look at how road security and traffic safety are evolving in the Kingdom. It is worth noting that the participation was a technology showcase only. There are no publicly listed fees in Saudi Riyal, no new procedures tied to platforms such as Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, Najiz, Nafath or Tawakkalna, and no subscription models or validity periods linked to visiting the exhibit or interacting with these systems, based on currently available information.
The participation reflects the ongoing push to bring smart technology into road safety and everyday mobility across Saudi Arabia.
