A set of royal orders has reshuffled several senior economic and financial leadership posts in Saudi Arabia, including two new deputy governor appointments at the Saudi Central Bank.
Under the decrees, Talal bin Fouad bin Ahmed Al-Hamoud was appointed Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Technical Affairs, at the excellent rank. Abdulilah bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Duhaim was named Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Executive Affairs, also at the excellent rank.
Both roles are among the most senior leadership positions within the central bank, which oversees the country's monetary policy, banking sector supervision, and financial stability. The appointments are part of a wider batch of royal orders covering cabinet, investment, communications, transport, and other key sectors.
Why it matters
For residents and businesses, the Saudi Central Bank plays a central role in the stability of the banking system, payment services, and the wider financial environment that households and companies rely on day to day. Renewed leadership at the technical and executive levels reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen governance across the financial sector.
These are internal leadership and rank appointments issued through royal orders. They do not introduce any new fees, service prices, validity periods, or procedural steps for the public, and require no action through government platforms.
