Saudi Arabia has launched NUSUK Hajj, a new digital platform introduced by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in 2026 to manage the registration, package selection, payment, and permit issuance of international pilgrims entirely online. The platform aims to simplify and speed up procedures for pilgrims arriving from abroad.
International pilgrims access the service through the official portal at hajj.nusuk.sa, where registration and booking take place directly rather than through other government channels. To begin, users create an account by selecting their country of residence, entering an email, agreeing to the terms, and verifying via a one-time code, then setting a secure password.
Applicants must upload their passport bio page, a recent personal photograph, and proof of residence where requested, and complete their personal and contact details. The National Information Center then reviews digital identity and eligibility; once cleared, the account status changes to “Verified Pilgrim.” Pilgrims can then browse authorized packages, select one, and pay through the NUSUK payment gateway.
Permits, fees and package prices
Eligible Saudi citizens and resident categories—including citizens, GCC nationals, Premium Residency holders, investors, mothers of Saudi citizens, domestic workers, and non-Saudi family members—submit permit applications through the Absher Individuals platform, while employees of Makkah-based establishments use the Muqeem portal. The Hajj permit itself is free; pilgrims pay only for packages and the visa fee where applicable. The 2026 Hajj visa fee is SAR 300, separate from package costs.
All-inclusive NUSUK Hajj packages—covering visa, flights, accommodation, transport, catering, and Mashair services—vary by tier. Economy options range from about SAR 18,750 to SAR 35,625 standard tiers from about SAR 26,250 to SAR 48,750, and premium tiers start at roughly SAR 56,250, with some offers exceeding the equivalent of SAR 100,000 depending on country and services.
The platform gives residents and expats in Saudi Arabia a clearer, unified path to plan Hajj, with transparent pricing and streamlined verification.
