Saudi Arabia Launches Unified KSA Visa Platform

Saudi Arabia has adopted a single national platform, KSA Visa, as the Kingdom's official system for issuing and managing visas. Operated under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the platform brings together several visa categories in one digital destination for applicants inside and outside the Kingdom.

The platform covers Hajj, Umrah, business visit, tourist, and work visas, and connects with more than 30 entities to streamline the application and management process. Users can reach it through the visa.mofa.gov.sa portal and log in either through نفاذ (Nafath) or a dedicated platform account.

The unified system was first approved in May 2022 and later launched under the name KSA Visa in November 2024. The move consolidates what was previously handled across separate channels into a centralized service.

Why it matters

For residents and expats, a single point of access can make it easier to understand which visa type applies and how to manage requests. Under the current official eVisa rules, tourist visas remain available as a one-year multiple-entry visa allowing stays of up to 90 days.

There is no confirmed platform-wide fee amount, revised validity rules, or new rollout schedule beyond the visa category rules already in force. Applicants are advised to rely on the official portal for accurate visa requirements and steps.
