Saudi Arabia has launched an official 2026 partnership with Roblox, delivered through Savvy Games Group, to grow the Kingdom's game development ecosystem and support young creators. The collaboration is designed to give aspiring Saudi developers the training and tools needed to build and publish their own games.
Through Roblox's Creator Hub, the partnership offers localised training, community building, technical support, workshops, and competitions aimed at Saudi creators. Roblox said it would help talented developers move from early ideas to finished, playable games.
A key part of the initiative is a nationwide student competition tied to the Saudi Ministry of Education. The contest drew more than 700,000 students and generated over 155,000 game submissions. The top 10 concepts were turned into playable prototypes, and the single winning concept was developed for the Roblox Learning Hub.
A regional base in Riyadh
Roblox also announced plans in 2026 to establish a regional headquarters in Riyadh to support creators across the Middle East and North Africa, with backing from Saudi investment and media authorities. The move signals a longer-term commitment to building local gaming talent in the region.
For families, students, and young residents across the Kingdom, the programme offers a structured path into one of the world's fastest-growing creative industries. By combining classroom-linked competitions with professional mentoring and technical support, the initiative aims to turn everyday hobbies into real skills and career opportunities.
No fees, prices, validity periods, or official application steps have been identified for the partnership itself. Students and creators interested in future rounds should watch for announcements through their schools and official education channels.
