Saudi Arabia to Host 1,000 Umrah Guests From 16 Nations

Saudi Arabia has approved the hosting of 1,000 Umrah performers from 16 nations under a dedicated Guests Program, in a move that underscores the Kingdom's continued focus on serving those who travel to perform Umrah.

Under the program, the invited guests will be welcomed to carry out their Umrah with organized arrangements designed to ease their journey. The initiative brings together pilgrims from a range of countries, reflecting the diversity of Muslims who wish to visit the holy sites.

Hosting programs of this kind form part of the Kingdom's broader efforts to enhance the experience of Umrah performers, from arrival through the completion of their rituals. Such initiatives typically involve coordinated services covering travel, reception, and support throughout the visit.

Why it matters

For the wider community in Saudi Arabia, including residents and expatriates, the program highlights the country's ongoing commitment to welcoming visitors to the holy sites and improving the standard of services offered to them. It also reinforces the Kingdom's role as a host to Muslims from around the world.

The approval reflects sustained attention to developing hospitality and pilgrimage services, a priority that continues to shape how visitors experience their spiritual journeys in the Kingdom.
