Business travelers heading to Saudi Arabia in 2026 can apply for a business visit visa for meetings, negotiations, and site visits, available as single-entry (valid up to 90 days) or multiple-entry (valid up to one to five years), with each stay generally capped at up to 90 days.
Government visa fees typically range between roughly SAR 300 and SAR 500 depending on nationality and entry type. Through the business e-visa route, the government fee is around SAR 300 for single entry and SAR 500 for multiple entry, alongside mandatory visitor medical insurance of about SAR 140 to SAR 180. Invitation-based applications may add roughly SAR 35 to SAR 160 in platform and attestation costs. Processing usually takes about one to five business days once the full application and invitation letter are submitted.
Rules for certain nationalities
Since February 2025, nationals of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Nigeria, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, Iraq, Morocco, Yemen, and Tunisia are no longer issued multiple-entry business visit visas and instead receive single-entry visas. For these applicants, stays are capped at 30 days with typical cost around SAR 300 including mandatory medical insurance.
How the process works
The Saudi host company must be registered in the Kingdom and issues an invitation letter on its letterhead, usually attested by the Chamber of Commerce. The sponsoring company initiates a visa request through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa platform, generating an electronic visa authorization number for the visitor.
The applicant then completes the online application, pays the government fees and insurance by card, and books visa stamping at the Saudi mission or an outsourced visa center in their country. Visitor medical insurance is mandatory to activate the visa and must cover the full intended stay, and is issued and linked electronically during the process.
