Saudi Esports Federation Boosts Talent Pathways

The Saudi Esports Federation (SEF), through its Saudi Esports Academy, has signed a series of 2025–2026 partnership and memorandum-of-understanding agreements with local and international organizations aimed at developing clear talent pathways for Saudi esports players and industry professionals.

The agreements focus on structured training programs, workshops, seminars, and awareness initiatives designed to clarify career and skill routes within esports and its wider ecosystem. Academy participants and graduates will gain access to internships and on-the-job training with partner organizations, alongside mentorship from experienced professionals and specialists in the sector.

Under one partnership framework, selected partners are designated as official event partners for the Saudi eLeague 2026 and other circuits, helping build a competitive pipeline that moves players from grassroots and semi-pro levels toward professional competition. Other partners serve as presenting partners for women's leagues and inclusive circuits, linked to a dedicated Talent Development Program run by the academy.

What the pathways include

The initiatives typically feature enhanced coaching systems and structured curricula for skill progression, scouting efforts and development leagues to identify emerging Saudi talent, and talent hubs that provide resources, facilities, and technical support. Programs cover both players and workforce roles such as event management, production, operations, coaching, analysis, content, and administration.

The partnerships align with the Kingdom's National Gaming and Esports Strategy and the wider goal of positioning Saudi Arabia as a global hub for gaming and esports, using these pathways to raise Saudi representation and performance in international competitions.

At this stage, publicly available information does not specify participation fees in Saudi Riyal, exact application steps or required documents, or official validity periods for enrollment, membership, or certificates. Saudi Living will share further details for the community as they become available.
