Stadiums across Saudi Arabia are filling up this season as the Saudi Pro League 2025–26 records strong crowds and rising fan engagement in Riyadh, Jeddah and other cities. Total attendance for the campaign stands at roughly 1.9 to 2.3 million spectators, with an average of about 7,700 to 7,900 fans
The biggest fixtures have drawn the largest crowds. Peak single-match attendances have exceeded 53,000 to 58,000 spectators, particularly in matches involving Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr at the country's largest stadiums in Jeddah and Riyadh.
The numbers are being driven in part by dedicated government support. Club funding for the 2024–2025 sports cycle is about SAR 1.7 billion, with roughly SAR 128 million earmarked specifically for a fan attendance initiative tied to performance indicators. The Ministry of Sport's updated club support strategy for 2024–2026 also targets fan experience, digital engagement, facility development and commercial revenue growth to build long-term loyalty.
Tickets and cashless entry
For families and fans planning a matchday, ticket prices vary by fixture. General admission typically runs between 25 and 50 SAR for standard games, with 50 to 100 SAR common in Riyadh and other major cities. Side stands run around 75 to 200 SAR, premium side seats around 150 to 350 SAR, while VIP and hospitality begin at 400 to 800 SAR and can exceed 1,500 to 2,000 SAR for derbies and finals.
Tickets are sold mainly through the official SPL digital platform and app, which require registration with a Saudi national ID or passport details for visitors, plus major local entertainment ticketing apps. Most Pro League grounds now operate fully cashless matchdays, with QR-code mobile tickets scanned at the gates and limited or no acceptance of printed tickets. Fans are advised to book early and have their mobile ticket ready before arriving.
