Saudi Sports Channel to Launch 18 October 2026

The Saudi Broadcasting Authority is preparing to launch its third sports channel on Sunday, 18 October 2026, at 4:00 p.m. The new channel will focus on archived and documentary content celebrating the Kingdom's sporting history, and will broadcast continuously around the clock.

the channel will offer viewers a mix of archived local, Gulf, Arab, and international matches, alongside classic sports programs and historical competitions. The aim is to preserve and showcase decades of sporting memories for audiences across Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

What viewers can expect

Unlike channels centered on live coverage, this new addition is dedicated to the archive. Fans will be able to revisit landmark games, revisit beloved sports shows from the past, and follow documentary programming that traces the development of Saudi sport over the years.

The round-the-clock schedule means the content will be available at any time of day, offering a steady source of nostalgia and sporting history for long-time fans and newer audiences alike.

For sports communities in Riyadh, Jeddah, and beyond, the channel adds a new way to connect with the Kingdom's athletic heritage. No fees, subscriptions, or registration steps have been linked to the launch information — the channel simply becomes available on its scheduled date.
