The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has launched an AI Creativity Boot Camp aimed at content creators across the Kingdom, offering intensive, hands-on training in using generative artificial intelligence for content production. The program is scheduled to run for three days, from 10 to 12 August 2026.
The boot camp is designed to take part in practical skills from the earliest stage of idea generation through to final output. Its curriculum covers prompt engineering, high-quality visual production, and the responsible, ethical use of AI tools, giving participants a full picture of how these technologies fit into modern content workflows.
The training targets content creators, professionals working in the creative industries, design specialists, and outstanding students in related fields. Registration is available through SDAIA's Athka X platform and the event pages published on SDAIA's official channels.
Why it matters
As demand for digital content continues to grow in Saudi Arabia, practical AI skills are becoming increasingly valuable for creators and creative professionals. The boot camp offers a structured, hands-on route to learn these tools directly and to apply them responsibly.
The initiative is part of a broader push in 2026, in which SDAIA Academy expanded several data and AI training programs and bootcamps as part of its summer initiative, with registration also handled through Athka X. Separately, a Saudi Media Innovation Bootcamp was launched with the Ministry of Media and SDAIA to train journalists and content creators in AI-enabled media tools. Together, these programs reflect a widening effort to build local capabilities in artificial intelligence across the creative and media sectors.
