Saudi Arabia Launches 18 Data and AI Bootcamps

Saudi Arabia has announced 18 specialized training bootcamps in data and artificial intelligence, scheduled for August 2026 under the Future Summer Initiative. The programs, offered through the SDAIA Academy, target both working specialists and aspiring professionals looking to build in-demand technical skills.

The bootcamps cover a wide range of subjects, including generative programming, AI-agent systems engineering, AI-agent development, and data engineering for AI. Additional tracks focus on computer vision, prompt engineering, responsible AI, AI productivity, data management, data governance, data quality, and data integration. Some tracks are designed specifically for beginners, making the initiative accessible to those starting their journey in the field.

Registration is handled through the official AthkaX platform operated by SDAIA at athkax.sdaia.gov.sa. Applicants can open the platform, review the available bootcamps and their schedules, select a program, complete the registration form, and follow the enrollment instructions provided.

The announcement describes intensive, practice-oriented training but does not specify a single location, a uniform delivery format, or a fixed duration, as schedules vary by bootcamp. No exact fee was published, and the announcement does not confirm whether the programs are paid or offered free of charge. No certificate or enrollment validity period was stated.

The 18-bootcamp initiative follows an earlier summer program in July 2026 that included eight training programs and bootcamps. For residents and professionals across the Kingdom, the expanded lineup reflects the growing national focus on digital and AI skills, offering an opportunity to develop capabilities that are increasingly valuable in the local job market.
