433 Saudi Youth Showcase AI Media Projects on Cities

A total of 433 Saudi young men and women from 28 cities and 23 universities took part in a six-week training camp focused on producing AI-assisted media content about the Kingdom's cities. Their projects were showcased in Riyadh on September 21, 2026, in conjunction with Saudi National Day.

The camp, titled the “Artificial Intelligence Camp for Producing Media Content about the Nation,” was part of the wider “The Best of My City” project. Over six weeks, participants developed media works highlighting their cities and governorates, drawing on artificial intelligence tools to tell local stories.

The projects covered a broad range of themes, including cultural heritage, well-known landmarks, local products, traditional crafts, festivals, natural sites, and tourism destinations across the Kingdom. The aim was to celebrate the identity of Saudi cities while equipping young creators with practical skills in emerging media technologies.

The initiative reflects growing efforts to combine youth talent with advanced digital tools, offering participants hands-on experience in content production at a national scale. By bringing together young people from dozens of cities and universities, the camp encouraged diverse perspectives on what makes each Saudi community distinctive.

Future announcements about similar programs are expected to be shared through the academy's digital platform and its official channels. Timing the showcase with Saudi National Day added a symbolic dimension, linking the participants' creative work to a shared sense of pride in the nation and its cities.
