A new ultra-luxury wellness and eco-tourism resort has opened on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, as Six Senses AMAALA began welcoming its first guests on 15 July 2026. The resort positions itself around ultra-luxury wellness and regenerative tourism, featuring spa, wellness, marine, and eco-focused experiences.
Getting there is straightforward for travellers heading to the northwestern coast. The resort is about two hours by road from البحر الأحمر International Airport (RSI), around 45 minutes' drive from AlWajh International Airport, or roughly 20 minutes by seaplane.
Rates and booking
Publicly indicated nightly rates place the resort in the ultra-luxury band, roughly USD 1,200 to 3,500 In ريال سعودي terms, that translates to about 4,500 to 13,300 SAR with higher-tier pool villas and branded residences at the upper end and above during peak holiday periods. Actual rates are dynamic and shown at the time of booking.
Reservations are made through Six Senses AMAALA's official channels, including its website booking engine, direct reservations line, or authorised travel partners. Major international cards are accepted, and pre-payment or a deposit may be required for certain rate plans and peak dates. Foreign visitors travel on a Saudi visit visa or e-visa, arranged separately through official government channels.
The opening reflects the continued growth of destination tourism along the Red Sea, giving residents and visitors another premium option for wellness getaways within the Kingdom.
