Spain Beats Saudi Arabia 4-0 at 2026 World Cup

Saudi Arabia's men's national football team suffered a 4–0 defeat to Spain in a 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage match, played in Atlanta, United States, on 21 June 2026. The Group H fixture was the second matchday for both sides.

Spain took an early lead through Lamine Yamal in the 10th minute, before Mikel Oyarzabal struck twice, netting in the 21st and 24th minutes to put the game beyond reach before the break. Early in the second half, an own goal by Hassan Al-Tambakti in the 49th minute completed the scoring.

A late strike by Ferran Torres was ruled out by VAR for offside, leaving the final score at 4–0.

With the result, Spain moved to four points in Group H, while Saudi Arabia remained on one point from two matches and dropped to the bottom of the group. The Green Falcons now face a must-win final group match to keep their qualification hopes alive.

For fans across the Kingdom following the team's journey in the tournament, the outcome sets up a decisive final fixture. A victory will be essential if Saudi Arabia is to advance from the group stage, and all eyes will now turn to that remaining encounter.
