Saudi authorities recorded 13,628 violations of residency, labor, and border-security regulations during field campaigns carried out across the Kingdom between 17 and 23 September 2026,
The tally included 6,593 residency-law violations, 3,531 border-security violations, and 3,504 labor-law violations. During the same period, 12,628 violators were deported from the Kingdom.
Authorities also referred 18,549 individuals to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, while 3,815 were referred to complete their travel reservations ahead of departure.
Penalties for Facilitators
Officials reiterated that anyone found facilitating the illegal entry of individuals into the Kingdom, or transporting or sheltering violators, may face up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to SAR 1,000,000. Vehicles used to transport violators and properties used to shelter them may also be confiscated.
The figures reflect the total number of recorded violations rather than a single group of detained individuals. Fines, detention, deportation, and settlement procedures vary
The campaigns matter to the wider community because they underline the importance of maintaining valid residency and work permits, and of avoiding any involvement in illegal transport or accommodation of undocumented individuals. Residents and employers are encouraged to ensure their documentation and labor arrangements remain fully compliant with regulations.
