Akdital Group has begun operating its first hospital in Saudi Arabia, with Akdital Hospitals Al Olaya in Riyadh now fully open and receiving patients. The facility marks the group's first physical presence in the Kingdom.
The hospital is located in the Al Olaya district of Riyadh, one of the capital's busiest commercial and residential areas. Its launch follows an operating authorization granted by the Saudi Ministry of Health, which licensed the facility to serve patients.
Why it matters
The opening adds new capacity to Riyadh's private healthcare sector, giving residents and expatriates an additional option for medical care in a central part of the city. Expanding private hospital services is part of a broader push to strengthen healthcare provision across the Kingdom and meet growing demand in major urban centers.
The arrival of a new operator entering the Saudi market for the first time also reflects continued investment interest in the country's health sector. For families living and working in the capital, a fully operational hospital in Al Olaya means more accessible care close to home and workplaces.
Saudi Living will share further verified details on services, patient access, and any additional information as they become officially available.
