King Abdullah Specialized Hospital in Qassim is expanding healthcare access across the region with a total capacity of 474 beds. The facility is located near Qassim University and about 5 km east of Qassim Airport, and is affiliated with the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs.
The hospital's bed capacity is distributed across several departments, including 236 inpatient beds and 72 intensive-care beds. It also provides 45 emergency beds, along with 121 beds allocated for operating rooms, day surgery, recovery, dialysis, maternity, physical therapy, and rehabilitation.
To support outpatient demand, the hospital operates 84 examination, diagnostic, and treatment rooms. Its range of services covers emergency care, surgery, endoscopy, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging, radiology, blood banking, pharmacy, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and dental care.
Why it matters
The hospital strengthens specialized medical capacity in the Qassim region, giving residents access to a broad set of treatment and diagnostic services close to home. General services are available Sunday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the listed contact number is +966 16 516 1666.
For patients and families in the region, the combination of inpatient, intensive-care, and emergency capacity under one facility is designed to reduce the need for long-distance travel and to improve access to timely care.
