Trading in the shares of Al Ahli Gypsum Company on the Saudi Exchange has been suspended starting Thursday, 28/03/1448 AH, corresponding to 10 September 2026, after the company failed to disclose its financial statements for the period ending 30 June 2026 within the regulatory deadline.
The suspension is open-ended, meaning trading will remain halted until the company publishes the pending financial statements for the period ending 30 June 2026. The decision was applied under the Saudi Exchange's rules for listed securities.
The move follows an earlier one-day trading halt on 12 August 2026 (29/02/1448 AH). After that halt, the company's shares were allowed to trade for 20 sessions with an extended deadline to announce its financial statements by 9 September 2026. When the company did not meet the extended deadline, trading was re-suspended from 10 September 2026.
During the suspension, no buy or sell orders in the company's shares can be executed on the Saudi Exchange. Existing shareholders keep full legal ownership of their shares but cannot trade them until the suspension is lifted. The halt is a regulatory action, not a paid service, and carries no special fees for retail investors beyond normal brokerage account maintenance and custody charges.
Why it matters
Trading suspension and resumption decisions for this stock are handled exclusively through the Saudi Exchange's official channels. Investors cannot lift or change the suspension through platforms such as أبشر, مقيم, قوى, ناجز, نفاذ, بلدي, توكلنا, or اعتماد, as these are not used for equity trading halts. For the latest status and any lifting of the suspension, investors should follow the official Saudi Exchange announcements under market and issuer news, and the listed company disclosures section for publication of the delayed financial statements and any further regulatory notices.
