Akasa Air has extended the suspension of all its flights to and from Riyadh and Jeddah, with the measure now running through and including October 27, 2026. The decision affects travelers who had booked seats on the airline's routes connecting to the two Saudi cities.
Passengers holding affected tickets have two options. They may request a full refund, or they can reschedule their travel without paying any additional charges. The airline has outlined both choices to give travelers flexibility in adjusting their plans.
For those who opt for a refund, the amount will be credited back to the original payment method within seven days. Travelers who booked directly are advised to arrange their refund or rescheduling through the airline's own channels.
Passengers who purchased their tickets through a travel agency or another travel partner should contact the provider where the booking was made, rather than the airline directly, to process a refund or change their itinerary.
The extended suspension matters to residents and visitors in Riyadh and Jeddah who may have travel plans tied to these routes over the coming period. Checking booking status early and confirming the preferred option — refund or rescheduling — can help avoid last-minute disruption.
