Al-Baha Plans National Day Events for 2026

Al-Baha Municipality and its affiliated municipalities have finalized plans for a series of Saudi National Day events in 2026, spanning Al-Baha city and the region's governorates. The program blends heritage displays, family activities, and citywide decorations to mark the national occasion.

the celebrations will feature traditional and folkloric performances, poetry recitations, and interactive activities designed for children. Public spaces will be dressed with national flags, themed branding, and festive lighting across roads, squares, and buildings.

The festivities also include the distribution of gifts and flags along with balloon releases at several prominent locations throughout the region. A current listing indicates the municipality and local bodies will organize 12 main events, alongside additional activities in various governorates.

In Al-Baha city, a fireworks display is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. on 23 September 2026, offering residents and visitors a central point to gather for the occasion.

For the community, the wide spread of events across the city and its governorates means families in different areas can take part close to home. The mix of folklore, poetry, and children's activities gives residents and visitors varied ways to join in the national celebrations.
