The AMAALA Yacht Club has officially begun operations at AMAALA Marina Village in Triple Bay on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, within the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Nature Reserve. The launch marks a notable step forward for luxury marine tourism in the Kingdom.
The marina currently offers around 116 to 120 berths, with capacity to accommodate superyachts exceeding 100 to 130 meters in length. Founding members and visiting yachts are now being welcomed to moor at the marina village and access the club's facilities.
Positioned as a private members' club and a yachting center of excellence, AMAALA Yacht Club focuses on sailing, superyachts, education, and marine environmental stewardship. The club forms part of AMAALA Phase One, which opened in 2026 with multiple ultra-luxury resorts, branded residences, the Corallium Marine Life Institute, high-end retail, and fine dining.
A hub for high-performance sailing
The club is planned as a winter hub for competitive sailing, complete with a dedicated sailing academy and structured training programs. Its events calendar includes hosting the Grand Finale of The Ocean Race in 2027, along with season finales for the Open and Women's World Match Racing Tours starting December 2026 under a multi-year agreement.
For visitors, access to AMAALA's experiences — including the yacht club — is typically arranged through resort packages at Triple Bay. Standalone public day-ticket structures have not yet been detailed, and specific fee schedules for membership, berthing, or the sailing academy have not been publicly disclosed. Visa and entry requirements for foreign yacht owners and visitors follow the Kingdom's standard tourism and immigration rules.
The opening reflects the wider ambitions of the Red Sea destination to blend regenerative tourism with world-class hospitality, offering residents and international visitors a new marine lifestyle option on the Kingdom's western coast.
