Bader AlReziza elected head of Saudi football federation

Bader AlReziza has been elected president of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for the 2026–2030 term, taking over leadership of the country's top football body.

The election was held during the federation's Extraordinary General Assembly in Riyadh, where AlReziza secured the presidency by acclamation. The new mandate runs for four years, ending in 2030.

AlReziza succeeds Yasser Al-Misehal, who led the federation from 2019 to 2026. The handover marks the start of a fresh chapter for Saudi football administration during a period of rapid growth across the Kingdom's sports sector.

The result carries wide interest for football fans and communities across Riyadh, Jeddah and other cities, given the sport's central place in Saudi public life. The federation oversees national teams, professional and grassroots competitions, and the ongoing development of the game nationwide.

With the term extending to 2030, the new leadership will help steer key areas of Saudi football during the years ahead, a period expected to feature continued investment in clubs, competitions and talent development across the Kingdom.
