Business owners in Saudi Arabia can issue and renew their Commercial Registration (CR) through the Saudi Business Center, with login handled via the National Single Sign-On, Nafath. The core CR action is now processed through this unified business platform rather than a separate chamber-led workflow.
The base fee is fixed at SAR 200 and SAR 100 Once the fee is issued on the platform, the invoice is paid through SADAD. The Ministry of Commerce e-services page also offers an alternative official path for establishment CR, where users fill in business details, select activities, issue the invoice, and pay by SADAD or card.
Steps to Renew Your CR
The typical flow is straightforward: sign in, open commercial registration services, choose Renew Commercial Registration or the relevant CR service, select the CR, choose a duration if offered, review the fee summary, confirm, and pay. Current guidance shows that renewal can now be selected for a period of 1 to 5 years in the Saudi Business Center flow.
For establishment registration, the official service page includes fields for the trade name, activity, capital, address, and payment steps. It is worth noting that Chamber of Commerce fees are added separately and vary by activity, capital, and establishment class — they are not fixed in the same way as the CR base fee.
The move to a unified platform matters for the community because it simplifies a step that every business — from small establishments to larger firms — must complete regularly. Knowing the fixed base fee and the clear digital path helps owners plan costs and avoid delays when keeping their registration active.
