Curious Summer at Biosphere: Kids Workshops in Riyadh

Families in Riyadh had the chance this summer to join Curious Summer at Biosphere, a workshop programme for children held in the Al-Sulimaniyah district. The programme ran from 6 to 30 July 2026 and was marked as expired by mid-August 2026.

Set inside a creative biodome space, the programme centred on hands-on educational experiences for children and their families. Activities spanned art, cooking, crafts, bees, and nature-based learning, giving young participants an interactive way to explore science and creativity during the summer break.

Tickets started from SAR 27 per person, with prices varying depending on the workshop. Each workshop had its own booking page and required advance reservation for the specific session chosen. Bookings were listed through Webook.

The Biosphere venue has previously hosted family-focused experiences in Riyadh. An earlier 2025 listing for Biosphere and FoodSphere showed Biosphere access priced at SAR 75 for adults and SAR 35 for children aged 2 to 16, while FoodSphere access was free. No updated 2026 pricing for those tickets was available.

Why it matters

Interactive learning venues like this one add to Riyadh's growing range of family-friendly activities, offering children a structured yet playful way to spend the summer holidays. With sessions requiring advance booking, families were encouraged to reserve early to secure their preferred workshops.
