The Saudi Food and Drug Authority issued a consumer warning on 27 October 2026 over possible small glass fragments in selected Arla Protein Pudding products manufactured in Denmark and sold in the local market. Consumers are urged to check their packs and avoid eating any affected batches.
The warning covers four flavors — Chocolate, Hazelnut Latte, Salted Caramel, and Crème Brûlée — sold in packs of 6 × 200 g. The affected batch numbers are: ES26257001, ES26282001, ES26284001, ES26284002, ES26284003, ES26247001, ES26274001, ES26276001, ES26276002, ES26267001, and ES26273001.
Consumers who have purchased any of these batches are advised not to consume them and to dispose of them immediately. Anyone who experiences throat pain, abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting after eating the products should seek medical attention without delay.
The affected products were subject to a precautionary withdrawal from Saudi markets in coordination with the manufacturer. No related incidents had been reported in the Kingdom at the time the warning was issued.
Why this matters
Food-safety alerts like this one help residents and families avoid potential harm from contaminated products. Checking the batch number printed on the pack is the quickest way to confirm whether an item is affected. Suspected food-safety violations can be reported through the unified contact centre at 19999.
