Saudi Arabia's Real Estate Development Fund deposited about SAR 1.074 billion in housing support for August 2026 directly into the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries across the Kingdom, as part of its ongoing monthly disbursements.
The August payment is allocated to profit-subsidy support on housing finance contracts under the various housing support programs run jointly by the Fund and the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing. The support helps cover part of the financing costs for approved contracts and continues throughout the valid period of each contract, as long as eligibility conditions are met.
With the August deposit, cumulative housing support paid into beneficiaries' accounts from January through August 2026 reached about SAR 8.628 billion. Earlier monthly deposits in the year included roughly SAR 1.1 billion for May, SAR 1.068 billion for June, and SAR 1.082 billion for July.
Why it matters
The Fund operates as a government body providing housing finance support and profit-subsidy programs for middle- and low-income citizens, aiming to improve their ability to own homes. The effort supports the homeownership targets set under the Vision 2030 Housing Program.
Support is transferred directly to bank accounts linked to approved financing contracts. Beneficiaries apply and manage their cases through official e-government channels operated by the Fund and the Ministry, with identity verification handled via national digital services. To keep receiving deposits, beneficiaries must maintain a valid national ID, active housing eligibility status, and a current financing contract.
