Housing Support: Beware Unauthorized Intermediaries

Beneficiaries of Saudi housing support have been urged to avoid dealing with unauthorized intermediaries or unofficial social media accounts when carrying out housing support transactions, and to rely only on official channels.

all applications should be made by logging in to the Sakani platform or app, where beneficiaries can access electronic financing and housing-support services directly.

The officially recognized channels for support and inquiries are the Sakani platform and app, the Beneficiaries Care Center on 199090, the verified social media account @saudihousingcc, and business WhatsApp on 0554199090. The Beneficiaries Care Center operates from 8 am to 8 pm, Sunday to Thursday, while WhatsApp support runs from 8 am to 4 pm, Sunday to Thursday. Social media support is available 24/7.

What beneficiaries should know

The housing subsidy amount carries no monthly installment because it is non-refundable. For a first home, the state bears the real estate transaction tax up to SAR 50,000, with the stated tax rate of 5%. Offering units for sale on Sakani remains free of charge.

Subsidized real-estate finance contracts can be issued for up to 25 years, with the benefit due for a maximum of 20 years.

The warning matters to the community because relying on unofficial intermediaries can expose applicants to errors, delays, or financial risk. Using only the listed channels helps ensure transactions are handled securely and accurately.
