Dar Albalad Names Bassam bin Salamah Managing Director

Dar Albalad for Business Solutions Co. announced the appointment of Bassam bin Ibrahim bin Salamah as its new Managing Director, effective 16 August 2026. The move is part of a wider adjustment to the company's board and executive leadership.

Under the same decision, Bassam bin Salamah was also named an Executive Director to fill a vacant seat on the board. The appointment remains subject to ratification by the company's next General Assembly, in line with standard corporate governance procedures.

At the same time, Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim bin Salamah moved to a Non-Executive Director role at his own request, adjusting his responsibilities within the board while maintaining his membership.

Bassam bin Salamah brings extensive leadership experience to the position, having served as the group's Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director since 2001. His long track record at the company is expected to support continuity as the business moves into its next phase.
